About the Journey…

The last of six kids, with a little more than two years before I meet my 50th birthday, I am the only one left in my Blaisdell clan to celebrate the BIG milestone.
Each of my siblings chose to mark the occasion in their own unique fashion, whether it be through travel or with family reunions. Now, I am being encouraged to come up with my own personal dream.
While I craft my way to fifty, I’m going to experience a few brief journeys along the way as I build the suspense to the kick-off of my fifty days around the world.
I welcome suggestions, tips and invitations…and hope to include you on my journey.
Cheers, Molly

  1. Hi Molly, having just turned 49 this week, I am on the downhill run in my journey – I just need to work out what grand gesture I want to have to mark it! I look forward to following you on your progress.

i am not surprised in the least, Molly, that you are making the most of your journey toward 50! I admired your joyful spirit in high school…and I continue to admire it today. Enjoy the ride!! Love and hugs ~ Lori

    1. You are so very sweet Lori! Can’t wait to see you on Saturday. You are a very special memory from High School and still such a hottie and great woman. I have complete, mutual admiration for you!

  3. Molly, you are such a Doll for creating this site – I can’t wait to turn the big 50! I know it sounds crazy but I am so proud to have made it this far and finally accumulated some wisdom! Going to tag along on your journey with ya as we are the same age 🙂

Molly, I turned 50 in 2009 and went on a wonderful birthday week with my daughter to the Big Island. We stayed at Mana Lani Resort and had a blast going all around the island….. I also had checked off several things on my bucket list well before that week… Just my and her…. it was very fun, lots to see, lots to eat, lots to do, 7 econ systems and types of weather conditions… 🙂 I still stay BURNINGMAN.
